Spring events at the Château des Baux-de-Provence

Château des Baux

Activities are on offer throughout the Easter weekend, on 8 and 9 May and throughout the Whitsun weekend, organised by the Brigands du Mont Paon association.

Herbalism, medieval wine tasting in a medieval tavern, minting coins in the forge, demonstrations on a war machine, knight fights, costumed strolls through the village and lectures are all on the programme!

The programme

  • Medieval herbalism workshop
  • Wine tasting in a medieval tavern
  • Coin forging in the forge : 10.00 am and 2.00 pm
  • Demonstration of a war machine : 11.00 am and 3.00 pm
  • Knightly combat on the castle esplanade
  • Costumed parade through the streets of the village
  • Conference on the expressions of the Middle Ages : 4.00 pm
