Located at the foot of the Château des Baux-de-Provence, in the heart of the Alpilles, Moulin CastelaS is a family-run olive oil estate and an emblematic site of Provence.

Producers and millers of AOP Vallée des Baux-de-Provence, Catherine, Jean-Benoît and their daughter Émilie Hugues cultivate olive trees, produce and blend their olive oils with the same high standards as a winemaker crafting wine.

Throughout the year, the estate welcomes visitors for an authentic discovery of the olive tree, olive oil and the terroir of Les Baux through accessible, educational and friendly experiences.

Craft tourism – Mill visit

Moulin CastelaS offers a guided tour of the mill, allowing visitors to discover the profession of olive grower and miller.

Visitors follow the different stages of olive oil production, from the reception of the olives to the extraction process.

This immersive experience highlights technical and traditional expertise, passed down by a family of passionate producers.

Gastronomic tourism – Olive oil tasting

This sensory experience highlights olive oil as a true gastronomic product, closely connected to cuisine and the Provençal terroir.

Slow tourism – Olive grove walk

An audio guide accessible via QR code accompanies visitors, offering a free and educational experience in the spirit of slow tourism and reconnection with nature.
