Camille Claudel, géniale folie
12 May to 13 November 2022The Yves Brayer Museum proposes some thirty works on loan from collectors and French museums.
13520 Les Baux-de-Provence
This exhibition, supported by the French Ministry of Culture, presents the diversity of representations of the sky through the ages and cultures and the evolution of astronomical knowledge: a tool for action to help clarify the differences between beliefs, convictions and substantiated knowledge.
This exhibition will be accompanied by works of Claud Thierry – painter, photos of the Club d’Astronomie Orion Provence and the A.F.A. Association française d’Astronomie (linked to Ciel et Espace) as well as exotic wooden panels carved, to scale, in Madagascar.
It is also intended for the youngest visitors as it includes stories, animations with an educational booklet designed and produced by “Les Petits Débrouillards” Ile-de-France and the A.F.A. as well as a “cosmogony” section, a theory explaining the formation of the Universe.
Open from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm, every day except Monday.
