Lights and feathers – Michel Bacquet

2 to 12 September

The photographer Michel Bacquet plunges visitors into an imaginary world, abstract in a way.

He approaches the ponds of the Camargue at the peak of a spring day with a morning mist that changes at every moment: we see nothing, but we guess everything.

You can see colours revealed by the light in feathers, you can distinguish shapes: the pink flamingos appear by magic.

Later in the day, you may be surprised by a less peaceful world with the fighting of egrets or grey herons, or by the serenity of solitary birds.
