Painter and sculptor, Didier Le Gleuher was born in Bourges in 1953. He studied in Bourges, then in Avignon. His first exhibitions date from 1979.
He has lived in the South of France since 1980, and has lived and worked in Provence, in Auzon, Vaucluse, since 1994.
Didier Le Gleuher has been in the art business since 1980. Since 2018, his work is oriented on graphic design.
This has resulted in several exhibitions: Traces de conversations, Patience et longueur de temps in 2018, Au fil de l’encre in 2019, Arachnéennes in 2020, Époxydes in 2021, Encres et formes in 2022.
Didier Le Gleuher uses the technique of Indian ink applied with a pen, a brush and by rubbing on a flat support (paper, canvas, resin plate) from small format (10 / 12 cm) to very large format (240 / 180 cm) and on a volume support (resin plaster).
The 3 primary colours (usually acrylic) are used for their symbolism in each work.
These works from the last 5 years are presented at the Galerie la Citerne in Baux-de-Provence from May 25 to June 28, 2023.
