Murmures de papier – Wendy Higbee Carando

5 to 15 septembre

Wendy Higbee Carando, an American artist and laureate of the Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters, invites you to discover her expressionist paintings executed in Nihonga technique, mixed with her memories and imagination.

This Japanese technique does not use ink, but is an art of patience: the materials are drawn from nature – from plant and animal minerals – giving the painting a unique velvetiness and shimmer.
