Have you discovered them or would you like to rediscover them? The Carrières des Lumières offer you a unique selection of immersive exhibitions for one evening. Les Intégrales return from 9 May to 19 August.

Discover or relive the emotion of previous exhibitions! This exceptional journey through time will take you from the spiritual and fantastic world of Hieronymus Bosch through the surrealist representations of Arcimboldo to the dreamlike world of Dali, not forgetting the artistic expression of abstraction revealed by Kandinsky.

On the programme: Cezanne, master of Provence (2021); From Vermeer to Van Gogh, the Dutch masters (2023); The Orientalists, Ingres, Delacroix, Gérôme… (2024).

Cezanne, master of Provence (2021)

Les Carrières is decked out with the masterpieces of the Aix painter Cézanne, through the most emblematic landscapes of Provence.

This immersive exhibition takes visitors on a journey through Cézanne’s most famous paintings: from his still lifes to the many variations on the Sainte-Victoire mountain, they bear witness to the artist’s creative force, his attachment to nature, and his evolution towards an abstract reality of colour and form.

From Vermeer to Van Gogh, the Dutch masters (2023)

This digital creation presents the genius of the painters of the North through a real immersion in authentic painting, as close as possible to nature and its subjects.

The public is taken on a journey through everyday reality, following in the footsteps of the great masters who took an extraordinary approach to the ordinary.

The Orientalists, Ingres, Delacroix, Gérôme... (2024)

The Carrières des Lumières invite visitors on a pictorial expedition to the exotic and bewitching new world of the Orient dreamt up by these great artists, dazzled by the light of the distant lands of the South.

July and August: doors open at 7:30pm for those taking the meal option or diner at the café (fast food)
September and October: doors open at 7pm
December: doors open at 6pm

Les Carrières are cool (57ºF to 60ºF / 14°C to 16°C in the auditorium), so bring warm clothing.
