Kandinsky and music evenings

27 and 28 July

This concert-conference associates the musical colours of the piano, violon and cello to “relate” the ties binding the Franco-German painter of Russian origin to music.

Musical works by composers that he appreciated particularly – Mussorgsky, Scriabin, Debussy, Wagner, Schoenberg and Rachmaninoff – are interspersed with presentations mixing historical context, quotes from the artist and works that he designed himself for the stage in a spirit of “all-encompassing work”.
