Château des Baux-de-Provence
The Château des Baux-de-Provence extends over 5 hectares, and the whole site is a listed Historical Monument.
Anne Bonnefon creates elegant cyanotypes. Cyanotypes are an alternative and addictive photographic process that plays with sunlight, colour and nature.
The artist is offering an introduction to the process through the making of greetings cards.
During the workshop, participants will create two greetings cards using local plants and photos taken by Anne Bonnefon in the immediate vicinity of Les Baux-de-Provence: the village, nature, the rocks, the Val d’Enfer.
At the same time, Anne Bonnefon is presenting a brand new exhibition, C’est Baux la nuit! created especially for Christmas. Paintings, drawings, engravings and cyanotypes pay tribute to Baux-de-Provence and the constellations that light up the valleys and the village on calm Provencal nights.
