14-15 Les Trémaïe et les Gaïe

The "Tremaïe" and "Gaïe" funeral memorials stand on the east side of the plateau, at the foot of the keep. A narrow path leads to them. The carved effigy of the Gaïes shows, in a niche, busts of two people dressed in togas with an inscription on the lower section that is partially legible.

A larger monument stands 250 metres further north, above a small chapel built in the second half of the 19th century. The stone contains a niche flanked by pilasters and there are three figures within. Tradition has it that this low relief represents the two St. Mary's of the Sea (St. Mary Jacob and St. Mary Salome) and their serving girl, Sara.
